My name is Olivia Irene Summer Fulmer. I was named for my grandmothers on both sides of my family. My mother’s mother’s middle name was Olivia (as was her mother’s and her mother’s mother’s), and my father’s mother’s middle name (and her mother’s also) was Irene.
I am a wife of more than thirty years and a mother of two adult sons. When I’m not behind a camera, I can be found with my nose in a book (or pressed to the Kindle app on my iPad) reading, or playing the piano, or just messing around with my sketchbook and pencils. You might even catch me writing a chapter or a scene in the novel that hasn’t been published yet (or that hasn’t even had a reader!). My younger son has been known to call me a tree-hugger on occasion.
I am retired after 43 years of teaching middle and high school English language arts with a few entry-level college composition classes thrown in for good measure.
